College NewsPublished Wednesday, May 9, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Office of University Relations/Admissions of Henderson State University has announced that Tiffany Young has been awarded the university academic scholarship. She is the daughter of Cassaundra and David Gill. She is currently a senior at Prescott High School. The university academic scholarship is equivalent to in-state tuition and fees for up to four years, which equals approximately $10,952. Leigh Hillery, a senior at Prescott High School has been awarded a tuition scholarship to the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope for the fall semester. The scholarship is based on an A.C.T. score and grade point average plus a recommendation from a school official. Hillery is the daughter of Harley and Mary Hillery of Gurdon.
