SGL Technic Celebrates Anniversary In Clark Co.BY TINA SMITHPublished Wednesday, May 2, 2001 in the Gurdon Times SGL Technic Inc., Polycarbon Division manufacturer of flexible graphite foil and carbonized rayon yarn and fabric for the automotive and aerospace industries looks back on five years of growth. Five years ago SGL TECHNIC Inc. began production in Arkadelphia. During this time, the company has achieved many milestones and their employees have conquered many goals. SGL TECHNIC Inc. wishes to thank and recognize its employees, 48% of whom are part of the current workforce, for their hard work and dedication which has led to the company's success. Without these committed employees, the company would never have reached this milestone. Among their accomplishments are: 13 months free of any accident, a record not achieved by many companies; approval from NASA to manufacture products for use on the space shuttle; and ISO9000 and a QS9000 certifications.
