Woman Charged With FraudBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, May 2, 2001 in the Gurdon Times A Gurdon woman has been arrested and charged with fraud in attempting to obtain prescription drugs. According to reports from the Gurdon Police Department, Thomerson's Pharmacy received a call from a Shelia Cain for pain pills. The prescription was allegedly from a Dr. Robert Dorman. However, when contacted, Dr. Dorman's office said no such prescription had been written. An arrangement was made to have an officer with the GPD on hand when Cain showed up. She arrived at about 2:45 p.m. and was arrested by officer Garry Marshall. HOME BURGLED Two youths have been arrested in connection with a residential burglary at 205 E. Joslyn. According to reports, the burglary occurred on April 19, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The youths took a 30-06 rifle and scope, a .22 magnum pistol, $10 in cash, a play station controller, play station games, a hard rifle case, a knife, a bayonet, a hunting knife and a homemade knife.
