In case you're wondering, I still have my electric blanket on.

LaNell Nash spent last week with her sister, LaVerne Masters, in Bismarck.

Darren, Kristi and Emilee Neal visited his parents, Bud and Peggy Rodel, in Jonesboro last week.

Betty Meeks Wilson from Hot Springs Village spent the weekend with Randy, Charity, Caleb and Jordan Lowdermilk.

Our community was made sad on Sunday afternoon when Darrel (Gerry) and Carrie Webb lost their home in a fire. I understand it was a total loss.

We would love to send a special get well greetings to Sis. Betty Ann Stinson.

Darren, Kristi and Emilee treated Kristi's dad, Jerry Hillery, to a birthday dinner Monday night. Those attending were his wife and two boys, Rhonda, Cole and Justin, Eddie and Bette Hillery, and Chanda and Lane Martin. He won't tell me his age, so I'd guess close to retirement.

We saw something very unusual and interesting Saturday afternoon. Eddie, Bette, and two family dogs, Bob and Shirley Loe and the Nazarene pastor and wife, Roy and Patty Cromer, going up the Wildcat Road. They took all of them including the dogs to the Sonic and treated them all to hamburgers. All this was done by a horse drawn wagon. Quiet interesting.

Children are a great comfort in your old age and they help you reach it faster, too.
