Alex M. Wilson, a senior at Prescott High School, recently received a minority incentive award to Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. The award includes resident tuition for two years at SAU.

In high school Wilson is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America, Art Club, National Honor Society and Munn's Chapel Baptist Church. He received the Honor Card Award and was named to Who's Who Among American High School Students. He plans to major in social work.

Wilson is the son of Willie A. Wilson and Gloria Blalock of Prescott.

Roger Lee Paden, a senior at Nevada High School, has been awarded a tuition scholarship to the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope. The scholarship is based on an A.C.T. score and grade point average, plus a recommendation from a school official.

Paden is the son of Frances Bradley of Rosston.

He will be pursuing a certificate in heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
