Russey is challenging 100 men to meet him Sunday, May 6, at the 8:00 a.m. worship services at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor. Installation services for Rev. and Mrs. Danny Thompson, new pastor of St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell, will convene May 6 at 3:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Special guest will be Lonoke Baptist Church of Hope with Rev. Alvin Hunter, pastor and speaker. Spring revival will be held at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon May 7, 8 and 9 at 7:00 nightly. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Evangelist for three days will be Bishop Steve M. Arnold, pastor of St. Mark Church in Little Rock. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor. There will be a musical program Saturday, May 5, at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Okolona. Everyone is welcome. Sis. Brenda Piggee is the sponsor. Rev. Eddie Brown, pastor. Building fund rally will be Sunday, May 6, at First Baptist Church of Okolona at 2:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Special guest will be New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon with Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor and speaker. Rev. Eddie Brown, pastor. Annual mission day program will be Sunday, May 20, at 2:30 p.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon. Everyone is welcome. Sis. Vernessa Russey is president and Rev. Quintin Radford is pastor. Night in hats, sponsored by the pastor's aide department, is scheduled for May 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Union Grove Baptist church of Bluff City. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Worship leader will be Sis. Burma D. Purifoy, president. Rev. Leon Parham, pastor. Louis Porter of Tennessee visited his aunt in Arkadelphia, Mrs. Voice, his friend Jerine Hatley, and other relatives and friends, Mr. and Mrs. James Stafford, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Stafford of Greenville, Gurdon, and surrounding areas, last week. Valree Smith of Little Rock is visiting her uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Welch, cousins Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Gatlin, Jerine Hatley, other relatives and friends in surrounding areas.
