McKamine, Clark Are Wed In West MemphisPublished Wednesday, April 25, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneMisty M. Clark and Wesley A. McKamie were united in marriage on December 9, 2000, at 2 p.m. at the Missouri Street Church of Christ in West Memphis. The bride is the daughter of Joe and Denise Clark of Marion. The groom is the son of Ruel and Monica McKamie of Rosston. Officiating the ceremony were Steve Norris of Batesville and Randy Coleman of Marion. The bride was given away in marriage by her parents. Casey Hinton of Jonesboro, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittanny Aughenbaugh of Marion, Kathryn Martin and Jennifer Lane of West Memphis and Traci Clark of Villa Hills, Ky. The flower girl was Megan Aughenbaugh. Best man was Wayne Smith of Hamburg. Groomsmen were Trey Kordsmeier of Conway, Ryan Stecks of Little Rock, Aaron Knowlton of Greenbrier and Joshua Clark of Marion. The ring bearer was Will Aughenbaugh. Candlelighters were Jacob Coon and Alex McKamie. The bride's dress was made of a beaded bodice with a scoop neck and a satin straight lined skirt edged with Belgian lace with an 82-inch removable train. The veil was a beaded headpiece. Her bouquet was made of six yellow roses and baby's breath held in a sterling silver cone. Her attendants wore long gowns with a while satin top with quarter length sleeves and a yellow satin skirt. Their bouquets were made of yellow and white roses. Singers for the wedding were Randy Coleman of Marion and Elizabeth Clark of Florence, Ky. Candelabras, greenery and fiscus trees adorned with white lights and pillars topped with ferns were used to decorate the alter. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Missouri Street Church of Christ, Rash Hall. Gwenna Doty served punch at the reception. Katy Doty served the bride's cake and Courtney McKamie, Cathy McKamie and Tammy McKamie served at the groom's table. Donnie Lancaster of West Memphis made the bride's and groom's cakes. The bride's cake was a five-sided, four-layer cake with white icing and decorated with fresh yellow roses. The groom's cake was a two-layer cake with white and decorated with a black caduceus, the medical symbol. Food served included finger foods of roasted pepper and turkey pinwheels, cream puffs, nuts, mints, pineapple punch and assorted candies on the groom's table. The couple took a five-day trip to Cancun, Mexico, for their honeymoon. The bride is a purchasing clerk for Equiserv in Conway and the groom is a cardiorespiratory therapist for Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock and Conway Regional Hospital.
