Lois Marie Sanders RiggsBRAZZEL / CORNISH FUNERAL HOME of PRESCOTTPublished Wednesday, April 25, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Lois Marie Sanders Riggs, 80, of Prescott died Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Riggs was born November 28, 1920, in Bismarck to W.H. and Mable Edith Bagwell Sanders. She was a retired manager of Dollar General in Prescott. Mrs. Riggs was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Imon Riggs, one brother and two sisters. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Kenneth Beavert of Dallas, Texas, and Joyce and Michael Samuel of DeAnn; one son and daughter-in-law, William Robert Buster' and Dollie Riggs of Wake Village, Texas; nine grandchildren, Kyle Beavert of Hermosa Beach, Calif., Kristi Justice and Klay Beavert of Dallas, Texas, Todd Samuel and Tracy Samuel of Amity, Tonya Oliver of Prescott, Kelly Nichols of Little Rock and Kerry Riggs and Kourtney Riggs of Texarkana, Texas; and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be today, Wednesday, April 25, at 2:00 p.m. at the Prescott Church of Christ with Gene Cloer and Howard Horton officiating.
