We are still getting plenty of rain.

Mildred Johnson returned home Thursday after spending several days in Baptist Medical Hospital in Little Rock. She had tests run on her heart, but she didn't have a heart attack. She is feeling better.

Louise Crayne spent a few days at home. Her sister, Lillian Crayne, stayed with her, but she is now in Health South Rehab at Texarkana, Texas, in room 209A.

Remember all our sick in your prayers.

Tommy Elmore of Hamburg spent the weekend with his mother, Elsie Elmore. Elsie and Jimmy Joe Jester returned home with Tommy Sunday to spend a couple of days.

Courtney Jackson was honored with a birthday dinner Sunday at the home of her grandparents, Pete and Cathryn Jester. Those attending this occasion were her parents, Rickey and Denise Stribbs, her sister, Theresa Smith, Joe Mac and Darlene Young, Bobby and Breanna, and Debbie and Tracy Miller and Jarod. Doris Page also visited the Jesters Sunday.

Willie and I enjoyed having a visit from Alma Renfro of Homer, La., and James Jones of Baytown, Texas, on Saturday. We enjoyed having Judy Jester visit us last week.

Willie and I visited J.D. and Mary Ann Lucas Sunday afternoon.

Reaford and Ruth Perhina of Gurdon visited Mae Blount Sunday.

A thought: It is good to be a Christian and know it, but better to be a Christian and show it.
