HORNE FUNERAL HOME of GURDON

Ida Pearl Gills, 78, of Gurdon died Tuesday, April 17, 2001.

Mrs. Gills was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Gurdon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hartis Gills.

Survivors include three sons, Tommy Overbey of Gurdon, Nathan Gills of Springhill, La., and Mike Gills of Gurdon; three daughters, Reia Calley and Janice Hughes of Gurdon and Evon Gills of Hot Springs; one sister, Helen B. Jones of Benton; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church of Gurdon Thursday, April 19, with Bro. Jerry Evans and Bro. Paul Sheets officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery near Gurdon under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Gurdon or to Bethlehem Cemetery.
