MITCHELL FUNERAL HOME of ARKADELPHIA

James R. Buckley, 79, of Arkadelphia died Sunday, April 15, 2001, in Beverly Healthcare Center in Arkadelphia.

Mr. Buckley was a retired employee of Reynolds Metal Company, a veteran of World War II and a member of Shady Grove A.M.E. Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jezeree Buckley; three sons, James E. Buckley of Arkadelphia, Gyronne Buckley of Grady and Larry D. Buckley of Rockford, Ill.; eight daughters, Joyce Johnson of Gardenia, Calif., Mammie S. Heard of Markham, Ill., Letri Bradford of Georgetown, S.C., abd Barbara Carter, Mary A. Cardine, Nancy Hall, Patricia Thrower and Bonnie Jones, all of Arkadelphia; 69 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 21, at Gennesart Missionary Baptist Church with Superintendent Leroy Williams officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
