Installation services for Rev. and Mrs. Danny Thompson, new pastor of St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell, will convene May 6 at 3:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Special guest will be Lonoke Baptist Church of Hope with Rev. Alvin Hunter, pastor and speaker. Spring revival will begin at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon May 7, 8 and 9 at 7:00 nightly. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Evangelist for three days will be Bishop Steve M. Arnold, pastor of St. Mark Church in Little Rock. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor. There will be a musical program Saturday, May 5, at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Okolona. Everyone is welcome. Sis. Brenda Piggee is the sponsor. Rev. Eddie Brown, pastor. Building fund rally will be Sunday, May 6, at First Baptist Church of Okolona at 2:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Special guest will be New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon with Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ray Gatlin of Dallas, Texas, visited his parents, Floyd and Margree Gatlin, his sister, Mary Ann Anderson, and her family, his cousin, Jerine Hatley, and other relatives and friends in Gurdon and surrounding areas. Jo Ann Bell of Los Angeles, Calif., has returned home after visiting her sister, Mary Bell, her niece, Dianne Hatley and her family, her Aunt Christine Hatley and her family, and other relatives and friends in Gurdon, Beirne and other areas. Terry Rogers Jr. of New York City is here visiting his mother, Bessie Rogers, his brother, Michael Rogers of Arkadelphia, Harry Rogers of Gurdon, his grandfather, Sam Bell, and other relatives and friends in and around Gurdon. Wayne and Zina Davenport of Silver Spring, Md., is here visiting his sister, Marie Hunter, and Rev. and Mrs. Johnny Harris of Arkadelphia. He also attended the funeral of his uncle, Bro. Tim Walker of Prescott, whose funeral was held Sunday, April 22, at 3:00 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Boughton. Happy belated birthday to Mrs. Larece Sue' Muldrew, who with family members celebrated Saturday. We love you and wish you many more from family and friends. William E. Harrington and Richard J. Harrington of Chicago, Ill., have returned home after spending a few days in Okolona, Gurdon, Little Rock and other surrounding areas visiting relatives and friends. Elmer G. Bell of Pine Bluff visited his sister, Vernessia Russey, along with other relatives and friends in Gurdon Saturday. Mrs. Geneva Marks of Gurdon, daughters and granddaughters of Rockford, Ill., are visiting their mother, sister and other relatives and friends. Rev. Spencer Hughes of El Dorado visited his in-laws in Gurdon on Sunday, Belinda Gentry and Frazer Gentry, Paquita Hill and daughters, Leodis Lyons, his friend, Rev. Quintin Radford, and Aunt Jerine Hatley and other relatives and friends in Gurdon. Deacon Willie B.
