School Menus: April 23-27Published Wednesday, April 18, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneMenus for the area schools for the week of April 23-27 are as follows. All meals are served with milk. They are also subject to change. Breakfast in Prescott Schools is served from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:00. Prescott School District The McRae Middle School (MMS) and Prescott High School offer different bar selections for lunch. The bar selections are listed at the end of the lunch paragraphs. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Sausage on a stick and juice. TUESDAY: Bacon and biscuit and juice. WEDNESDAY: Pancakes with syrup and juice. THURSDAY: Pizza and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Beef steak strips with catsup, mashed potatoes with gravy, seasoned green beans and roll; PHS: pizza bar. TUESDAY: Taco salad with chips, salsa, Mexicali corn and applesauce cake; MMS: salad bar; PHS: hamburger bar. WEDNESDAY: Cheeseburger on bun, potato wedges with catsup, sandwich salad cup and blushing pears; MMS: Potato bar; PHS: chicken patty and fries bar. THURSDAY: Spaghetti with meat sauce, spinach salad with dressing, grapes and roll; MMS: pizza bar; PHS: pizza bar. FRIDAY: Lasagna, broccoli salad, fruited strawberry gelatin and roll; PHS: hamburger and fries bar. Emmet School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Cheese omelet and juice. TUESDAY: French toast stick with buttery and syrup and juice. WEDNESDAY: Cheese toast, ham and juice. THURSDAY: Ham, toast with jelly and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Cheeseburger with lettuce, pickles and onion, potato wedges with catsup and peach cobbler. TUESDAY: Spaghetti and meat sauce with cheese, green beans, dill spear, peaches and hot rolls with butter and honey. WEDNESDAY: Chicken and dumplings, dried pinto beans, biscuit with butter and jelly, cinnamon roll and applesauce. THURSDAY: Pizza, salad bar, peanut butter cookie and peanut cup. FRIDAY: Diced chicken quesadillas, con queso, green beans and peanut butter pie.Nevada School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Cereal, toast and juice. TUESDAY: Cinnamon toast, apple sauce and juice. WEDNESDAY: Biscuit, sausage and juice. THURSDAY: Super doughnut and juice. FRIDAY: No school. LUNCH MONDAY: Sausage pizza, salad, fruit cup and Graham cracker. TUESDAY: Chicken nuggets, fries with catsup, green salad and mixed fruit. WEDNESDAY: Gravy steak, rice, green beans and applesauce and rolls.
