Jimmy Wayne Marlar

Jimmy Wayne Marlar, 47, of Emmet, died Monday, April 9, 2001 at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Mr. Marlar was born January 13, 1954, in Prescott to Rufus and Pauline White Marlar. He was disabled. Mr. Marlar was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his wife, Kay McAteer Marlar of Emmet; three daughters, Michelle Robbins and Ashley Hurt of Emmet and Rhonda Marlar of Andrews, S. C.; his father, Rufus Marlar of Emmet; two brothers, Bobby Marlar of Prescott and Gary Marlar of Texarkana; one sister, Nedra Hopkins of Texarkana; and five grandchildren, Justin, Jennifer and Jordan Robbins, Danielle Marlar and Heather Hurt.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 11, at Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott with Rev. James Adams officiating. Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery in Laneburg under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
