GPS Spring Carnival Is May 4

Gurdon Primary School's spring carnival 2001 will be Friday, May 4, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This year the school is asking for parents to donate some of the prizes for the carnival.

You can send these in a plastic bag with your child to school by April 18. The school does not want the items to be expensive.

Examples of prizes to donate are wrapped candy (one bag), pencils, notepads, small party favors, any small item (like kids receive in kid's meal sacks from McDonald's, Sonic, etc.), erasers, sidewalk chalk and other small items that kids will like. (This would be a great time to clean out your kids' closets.)

After the carnival committee sees what is donated then it can order the remaining prizes needed for the carnival.

Each classroom mom is responsible for organizing a booth.
