Cunningham will celebrate their mother's 80th birthday Saturday, April 14, at 1:00 p.m. in the home of her daughter, Darlene Hughes, at 415 Lockhart, Gurdon. Family and friends are invited to attend. The officers and members of Carrie Street Church of God in Gurdon will celebrate their pastor and his wife, Rev. and Mrs. Ivory Curry, pastor's appreciation Sunday, April 15, at 3:00 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Funeral services were held for Bro. Alfred Buster' Golden Tuesday, April 10, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell. Rev. Danny Hopson, pastor. Rev. Ackins officiating. He's father of Josie Golden and grandfather of Jewel Lee Johnson of Gurdon. The third Sunday night fellowship singing will convene at Eastern Star Baptist Church in Smithton Sunday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Bro. Leodis Lyons and Bro. Roosevelt House in charge. Rev. Marshall Allen, pastor. Ordination services for Rev. and Mrs. Danny Thompson, new pastor of St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell, will convene May 6 at 3:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Special guest will be Lonoke Baptist Church of Hope with Rev. Alvin Hunter, pastor and speaker. Spring revival will be held at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon May 7-9 at 7:00 nightly. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Evangelist for three days will be Bishop Steve M. Arnold, pastor of St. Mark Church in Little Rock. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor. The New Mt.
