McSweenys To Celebrate Golden Anniversary

C.R. Pot' and Nellie McSweeny will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, April 14.

A reception will be held on that special day from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the fellowship hall at Prescott Church of Christ, 305 East Main. It will be hosted by their children.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend. No gifts are requested.

McSweeny married the former Nellie Otwell April 14, 1951. He retired from GTE after 40 years.

They have two sons, Mark McSweeny of Colleyville, Texas, and Brad McSweeny of Tulsa, Okla., and one daughter, Rhonda Morton of Prescott.

Their five grandchildren are Brandon Morton of Prescott, Megan and Katelin McSweeny of Colleyville, Texas, and Ryan and Molley McSweeny of Tulsa, Okla.
