Bobby B. WhitmarshHERNDON FUNERAL HOME of HOPEPublished Wednesday, April 11, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Bobby B. Whitmarsh, 70, of Hope died Tuesday, April 3, 2001. Mr. Whitmarsh was born November 10, 1930, in Prescott to Burrell B. and Bessie Mae Renfro Whitmarsh. He was a retired assistant superintendent for Hope Public Schools, a member of the Retired Teachers Association and a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald D. Whitmarsh. Survivors include his wife, Billie Mae Cox Whitmarsh of Hope; a daughter, Donna Woodruff of Hope; two nephews, Dr. Stephen Edward Whitmarsh and Donald Bradley Whitmarsh; a niece, Patie Whitmarsh Farr; and numerous cousins and friends. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 5, in the Herndon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wade Hood and Rev. Earl Cumbie officiating.
