College News - Katherine FergusonPublished Wednesday, April 11, 2001 in the Gurdon TimesThe Office of University Relations/Admission of Henderson State University announces Katherine Ferguson, a senior at Gurdon High School, has been awarded the Reddie Spirit Award' for 2001-2002. According to Vikita Bell Hardwrick, director, the Reddie Spirit Award is equivalent to $400 per semester and is for one year. This award is based on extra-curricular activities, leadership, grade point average, class rank, an essay written by the student, a letter of recommendation for a school official and ACT/SAT scores. Ferguson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard T. and Polly Ferguson III of Okolona. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stell R.
