Lamar HousePublished Wednesday, April 28, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesLamar House, 64, of Gurdon died April 22, 1999 in Hot Springs. Mr. House was a retired welder for International Paper, an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a recipient of the Purple Heart and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Betty House of Gurdon; his mother, Daisy House of Lafayette, Georgia; two brothers, Charles House and James House, both of Lafayette, Georgia; one step- son, Ricky Wilson of Forest Hill, Maryland; eight step-grandchildren, seven step-great- grandchildren, four nephews and one niece.
