Hughes Brings Message At Local ChurchPublished Wednesday, April 4, 2001 in the Gurdon TimesFirst Christian Church in Gurdon had a special speaker Sunday night, April 1. Bro. Eugean Hughes preached the evening message and his wife sang. The church also had some special singers. They were Lloyd Baumgardner and his wife Ann, along with their granddaughter, and Doug and Teresa Higginbotham. The church had several visitors to visit in the services, who enjoyed the the message Bro. Hughes preached and the wonderful singing from all of them.
