This hasn't been a very good week at our house as Roscoe has had a bug for several days and been out of circulation. He was not able to attend church, but is much better today.

The Gospel Truth singers blessed our hearts in the morning service. Bro. Mark brought a good message and we had several visitors. Among them were Sam Cogbill, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Carlton and the Hardins from Willisville.

Our cousin, Bob Fairchild, of North Little Rock treated several cousins to a good meal at the Cross Road Buffet Wednesday night. They were Roscoe and me and Betty Kenzel and son, Jeremy. We enjoyed it very much. Others eating there that night were Paul and Dot Broussard, Dot's Aunt Dovie McKissack, her daughter Carolyn and Carolyn's daughter with her two little children. I think that made about four generations. Dot and Paul had been to Mark and Vicky Smith's daughter's funeral in Texarkana. Mary and Mike Smith and Ruth Vinson also attended the funeral.

Dail and Marjorie Evans attended the funeral of Dail's sister's grandson in Pine Bluff Wednesday.

Dianne Evans of San Francisco is visiting her parents, Bro. Jerry and Dot Evans, of Taylor for two weeks. She is spending Monday and Monday night with grandparents, Dail and Marjorie Evans.

Our revival started Monday night with Bro. Eddie Douglas of Louisiana as evangelist. Services are at 7 p.m. each night. Jeff and Tara Carlton will bring the specials in song on Monday night, Rodney and Billy Chris Langston on Tuesday night, Nikki Thornton on Wednesday night, Patricia Hill and Nancy Burke on Thursday night and Stacy Faulkner and Shelly Keith on Friday night. There will be a church supper on Friday night at 5 p.m. If you can't come to services please remember us in prayers.
