Our son, Willie Hugh, came Monday and drove us to Texarkana to see doctors and ate dinner with us. Those visiting Vernon and Wanda Stevens Sunday were Kay Wren, Herbie Ridgell, Kim Hughes, Jan McAllester, Paul and Robin Ridgell, Ray and Vicky Taylor and Connie and Wayne Watson. Mary Perkins (Wanda's sister) of Pasadena, Texas, was supposed to come, but she fell and broke three ribs. So sorry, Mary. Leon and Lonnie Jo Moore visited her parents Monday before returning to Michigan. Lonnie Joe visited a while with her Aunt Chloe Orren. Richard and Norma Yates of Albuquerque, N.M.. Marty and Rita White, Payton and Bailey spent Wednesday with Mildred White. Marty and Rita White are spending a few days in Colorado. They plan to do some skiing. Norma and Rickie Yates are to babysit with their grandchildren, Payton and Bailey. Elaine Halliday and Britta and Austin and Robbie McKinnon of Gurdon spent a few days in Branson, Mo., last week. Jim and Judy Jester, Tim and Stacy Jester and Winderleen Jester attended the funeral of their friend, Bonnie Freeman, Wednesday at Gurdon.
