This is the day the Lord has made. Let's rejoice and be glad in it.

Spring is here and we have not planted anything yet.

The first Sunday morning Young circuit will be fellowshipping with Mt. Vernon AME Church where Rev. E. Montgomery is the pastor. We had a very good crowd at church Sunday morning.

Our district conference will be held at St. Stephens April 6 and 7. Rev. Thomas Adair will be presiding elder from Magnolia District.

Bro. George Gulley's funeral was held Monday at Union Grove. He was well thought of by friends. He was the same person every time you saw him. They have a nice church. They are doing nice things over there with their bus and parsonage. They have a very good pastor and some hard working members.

My grandson is visiting me this week. He lives in Washington. He is a very nice kid.

Freddie and Margaret Dixon visited me Saturday night and they brought me my Christmas presents. There was so much ice Christmas Day that they could not get down here.

I have some sweet nieces and nephews. My niece from Chicago, Ill., is having surgery on her knees. She will have to stay in rehab for a while. She is very nice to me. I have an adopted son.

Children are out of school this week, because of spring break. I am sure they are having some fun.
