Emmet Kindergarten Registration PlannedPublished Wednesday, March 28, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneEmmet school kindergarten registration for the 2001-2002 school year will be held Thursday, April 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Emmet School office. Parents registering a student should take their child's birth certificate, immunization record, social security card and must be five years of age on or before September 15. In addition the parents must present a proof of physical examination, which may be by a licensed physician or a registered nurse qualified to conduct screening examinations. The comprehensive preschool examination for enrolling kindergarten students will be administered by the Nevada County Health Office and an appointment may be made by calling 887-2004.
