Authorities are looking for a Brenda Lee Spradling of Stamps in connection with forgery charges, along with failing to appear at a scheduled court date.

Both charges are class C felonies with sentences of three to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.

According to court records, Spradling, 30, was stopped at a checkpoint at the intersection of Highways 53 and 73 on July 28, 2000, by Nevada County Sheriff's deputy Larry Miller.

She gave her name as Rhonda Buck, along with giving Buck's date of birth. The information checked out when Miller ran a check through the Arkansas Crime Information Center.

However, Spradling smelled of alcohol, had no driver's license and no proof of insurance.

Miller administered a field sobriety test, then took her to the sheriff's office where a breathalyzer test was given. Spradling registered 0.065.

She was then issued tickets for having no driver's license and no proof of insurance, along with public intoxication.

On Aug. 1, 2000, Miller, who had taken a job with the Prescott Police Department, was contacted by deputy Danny Martin, who said he had arrested Spradling and found she was the person who had claimed to be Buck.

When asked why she did it, Spradling reportedly told the officers Buck is her sister and she didn't think Buck would mind.

This led to charges of criminal impersonation, which were later upgraded to forgery.

Spradling was given a court date, but failed to appear. This resulted in a bench warrant being issued for her arrest.

However, the warrant ran out and another had to be issued, with Spradling still free as her whereabouts remain unknown at this time.
