I sure hope the weathermen are right and spring is here.

Cathy Straley from Dallas spent the weekend with her parents, Pershing and Mary Cox.

Two of Caley Pennington friends spent Friday night with Caley to celebrate her birthday. They were Tessa Webb and China Higginbotham.

Betty and Roy Cagle recently took her sister, Chris Harris, to her eye doctor in Little Rock.

Neil's brother and his wife, Dwight and Tony Meeks from Camden, visited us Saturday.

Hazel Powell from Little Rock visited her brother and his wife, Pershing and Mary Cox, Friday.

Betty Meeks Wilson from Hot Springs spent the weekend with her daughter and family, Charity, Randy and Caleb Lowdermilk. She also visited Neil and me.

Gary and Gaywyn Golden from Murfreesboro had their family over to their house on Saturday night to celebrate Gaywyn's birthday. Those attending were Grant and Gina Golden from Little Rock and Gigi Golden from Hope and George and Joy Cox from Prescott.

Cleo Hildebrand spent last week with her son Jerry and his family in Texarkana.

Ann Wiley from Hope spent Monday with her parents, Pershing and Mary Cox.

Ricky and Nancy Burke joined other family members in Stamps on Sunday to celebrate Nancy's mothers 82nd birthday. Nancy's mother, Maxine Brown, resides at a nursing home there.

George, Dixie and Zack Clary and 94-year-old Donnie Rinkle were driving around in our community on Saturday. Donnie spent most of her life in the Redland community and many changes have been made.

We welcome Jim and Betty Roberson into our community. They have bought the Owen Davis home and will move from Dallas when remodeling is finished. In case you don't remember, Betty is the daughter of the late Lucy and Leland Taylor.

Danny, Lisa and Kyle Pennington, Clark, Myla, Darby and Garrett Crellin and George and Joy Cox honored Caley Pennington with a birthday picnic at White Oak Lake on Sunday.

Friends and neighbors wish the best for our neighbors, Bobby Morrow's father, Robert, who had heart surgery at the VA Hospital in Little Rock on Monday.
