College News - Banks Earns ScholarshipPublished Wednesday, March 21, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneAlexis Shantel Banks, a senior at Emmet High School, has been awarded a tuition scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope next fall. The scholarship is based on an A.C.T. score and grade point average plus a recommendation from a school official. Banks is the daughter of Connie Beard of Rosston and Larry Wayne Banks of Hope.
