An apparent illegal alien has been charged with two counts of forgery, but can't be found.

According to court records, on Feb. 8, Sgt. Walt DeYoung, with the Prescott Police Department, answered a call from the Arkansas Revenue Department concerning a Hispanic man trying to get an Arkansas driver's license.

The clerk said the identification provided by Jose Hernandez, 20, looked to be fake. Hernandez had reportedly showed an resident alien card and social security card.

The Department of Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS), was contacted and given the information on the resident alien card.

Officials with the INS said the card was fake.

The Social Security Administration was also called about the social security card. This document turned out to belong to a female born in 1888.

Hernandez was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree forgery. Forgery is a class B felony carrying a sentence of 5-10 years in prison and a fine up to $15,000.

He bonded out on $5,000 bail. However, he failed to show for his scheduled court date, resulting in a bench warrant issued for his arrest. The bond was also forfeited, but Hernandez hasn't been seen since and his whereabouts remain unknown at this time.
