Sandidge Charged With Passing Bad Check

Lisa Sandidge has been charged as a habitual offender after passing bad checks in Arkadelphia.

The Gurdon resident, also known as Lisa Gaye White, Lisa White and Lisa Jennings, was charged with violating Arkansas' Hot Check law after writing bad checks to Brookshire's Grocery from Sept. 21-26, 2000, totaling $253.24.

In all, six bad checks were allegedly written by Sandidge, who has been ordered to undergo psychological evaluation.

Sandidge has a history of passing bad checks, and has also been charged, in the past, with forgery, theft of property and certain person in possession of a firearm.

In this case, being a habitual offender is a class C felony with a sentence of 3-30 years in prison.
