Oak Grove Civic League

Tuesday, March 6, the Oak Grove Civic League convened at its monthly meeting. The election of 2001-2002 officers was among the order of business. Herbert Coleman, after a lengthy tenure of on-going leadership, declined to declare himself a candidate for re-election as president.

He humbly thanked his co-members and associates for their continued dedication and devotion over the years. He was commended by all for his hard work and endurance. He reaffirmed his continued support to the organization and officers-elect.

Newly elected officers for the existing league are Leo Holleman, president; Lula Kendrick, vice president; Henry L. Gulley, treasurer, and Eula Allen, secretary.

Tenure for newly elected officers extend from March 2001 to March 2002.
