Our prayers and love goes to the family of Nadine Logan, who passed away last week. She is going to be greatly missed.

Our activity director has been keeping us busy. The cover girls are quilting, but we need more quilters. We are working on one with three more to go.

USDA commodities will be issued at the Gurdon Senior Adult Center Tuesday, March 20, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Memorials have been given to the center in memory of Junior Thrasher, Arlie Craig and Nadine Logan.

The center enjoyed the square dancing with Tommy and Dorothy Hayes last Friday.

Eulah Wilson is able to attend the center again. She is back at her job at the registration desk.

Some of our members are recuperating. We hope they can be with us again.

Attending the center is the best way in the world to keep us older people active. I can speak from experience. If I live by the grace of God until October 13, I will have lived with an artificial valve in my heart for fourteen years. My involvement at the center has kept me going. Everyone should know what a blessing the center is to Gurdon and the surrounding community.

The center extends an invitation to those 60 and over to come join us. Our members enjoy visiting with their friends. Everyone can find something to do. You can enjoy a good hot meal for a donation of $1.

The center is a program of the Central Arkansas Development Council and a United Way Agency.
