College News - UACCH Scholarships Awarded

Kevin Powell and Amanda Paull, seniors at Gurdon High School, have been awarded tuition scholarships to the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope. The scholarships are based on an A.C.T. score and grade point average, plus a recommendation from a school official.

Powell is the son of Jimmy Debbie Powell of Gurdon. He will be pursuing a technical certificate in diesel technology.

Paull is the daughter of Nancy Qualls and Danny Paull of Gurdon. She will be pursuing an associate of applied science degree in business technology.
