Caney NewsRUBY WICKERPublished Wednesday, March 14, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Sandra and Dickee Brown of Arkadelphia, Barbara Nel Barber, Pickie Cale and her granddaughter Carrie of McCaskill visited Bro. Raymond and Phanae Hicks Sunday. Sandra and Dickee attended church with Raymond and Phanae and then had lunch with them. Coy Callicott visited his doctor last week. He finally got some medication that will relieve the pain of his arthritis. Margie Reed is home from the hospital after surgery and doing well. The Glass families met at the home of Lucy Glass Saturday. Lunch was potluck and provided by Junior and Johnie Glass of Texarkana, Spoot and Helen Glass of Magnolia, J.W. and Maxine Glass, Mary Glass Overton of Prescott, Liz Glass Nunn and Payton of Hope, Karen Glass Jobe and Sarah of Prescott, Barb Glass Cornelius of Nubin Hill, Pat Glass McCullough, Tim and Leah, Pam Glass Cleveland, Clancy and Hannah and Ethel Ellis. Junior and Ann Loe visited their children, Peggy and Don Fain and Jane and Sam Bradshaw, in Camden Wednesday. Abram Loe spent the night with his brother, Junior, and Ann Loe Thursday. Wallace and Retta McBride and Dorothy Apel went to Craig's in Arkadelphia for lunch Sunday after church. Thought: The reason worry kills more people than work is more people worry than work.
