Supplemental Security Income pays monthly checks to people who are aged, disabled or blind and who do not own much or have much income. SSI is not just for adults. To any woman who would like to get together with another woman to pray may get in touch with the local area contact person of Moms in Touch, Beth Ward, at 870-887-6376. For the past three years the local schools have been covered in prayer by a group of moms who meet on Tuesdays at 1:45 at First Baptist Church to pray for one hour. The Tri-County Beef Conference will be April 2 in Hope at approximately 3:00 p.m. It will be held at Hope Livestock Auction Barn on Highway 67 South. The Friends of the Library annual meeting will be held at the Prescott Library Monday, March 26, at 4:30 p.m. Brian and Tami Dickerson of Prescott are proud to announce the arrival of their new daughter, Hannah Reese. She was born Wednesday, February 21, 2001, at St. Michael's Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. She weighed 7 pounds and 12 ounces and was 20 inches long. Hannah was welcomed home by her big brother, Colton. Maternal grandparents are Tommy and Annette Birdsong of Prescott. Paternal grandparents are Jim Dickerson of Prescott and Lyn Dickerson of Prescott. Paternal great grandfather is Buck Dickerson of Prescott. Jonathan and Casey Webb of Prescott are proud to announce the birth of their son, Tristian Curtis, Monday, March 5, 2001, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. He weighed eight pounds and one ounce and was 20 inches long. Grandparents are John and Nita Ferguson of Irving, Texas, Wayne and Judy Randall of Little Rock and Bill Webb of Prescott. Great grandparents are Darrell and Carrie Webb of Prescott and Norma McClendon of Texarkana. Corinth Baptist Church near Bodcaw will have revival services Sunday, March 18, through Wednesday, March 21. Services will begin on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.; Monday through Wednesday services will begin at 7:00 p.m. Bro. Sam Husser will be the evangelist. The Nevada County Extension office and the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce will host a meeting concerning the Farmers market Thursday, March 15, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be at the Extension office.
