Valarie and Travis Simms spent Saturday night of last week with her grandparents, Frank and Merlene Glass, and attended Sunday morning services at Morris Baptist.

Margie Reed is back home from the hospital after throat surgery. Her sister, Charlotte Burnsen, and her husband Caroll from Cutoff, La., are spending a few days with her.

My granddaughter, April Stewart, of Little Rock visited her parents, Cyril and Phyllis, and attended funeral services for Bill Freeman.

Robert Callicott, a student at SAU, left Thursday for New York with other business major students. They will attend some business marketing meetings and do some sightseeing before returning to school.

Junior and Ann Loe had supper with their children at Woods in Camden Friday evening.

Cannon, Heather and Ryan Callicott also had supper at Woods Friday evening. They were celebrating Heather's birthday.

Morris Baptist Church was pleased to have Bro. Joseph Pimberton speak at evening services Sunday. Bro. Pimberton is a young man who attends seminary in Louisiana.

Old gardeners never die. They just spade away.
