School Menus: March 12-16Published Wednesday, March 7, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneMenus for the area schools for the week of March 12-16 are as follows. All meals are served with milk. They are also subject to change. Breakfast in Prescott Schools is served from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:00. Prescott School District The McRae Middle School (MMS) and Prescott High School offer different bar selections for lunch. The bar selections are listed at the end of the lunch paragraphs. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Sausage roll and juice. TUESDAY: Bacon and biscuit and juice. WEDNESDAY: Cereal, cinnamon toast, banana and juice. THURSDAY: Pancake with syrup and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Chicken tenders, mashed potatoes with gravy, apricots and roll; PHS: pizza bar. TUESDAY: Vegetable beef soup, grilled cheese sandwich, crackers, rosy applesauce and oatmeal raisin cookie; MMS: salad bar; PHS: hamburger and fries bar. WEDNESDAY: Hot dog on bun with relish and mustard, potato wedges with catsup, confetti coleslaw and assorted fresh fruit; MMS: sandwich bar; PHS: chicken patty and fries bar. THURSDAY: Fish strips, macaroni and cheese, garden salad with dressing, dill pickle spear, yellow cake and peach slices; MMS: Hamburger bar; PHS: Sandwich and fries bar. FRIDAY: Crispitoes, garden salad with dressing, Mexicali corn and fresh fruit cup; PHS: pizza bar. Emmet School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Cheese omelet and juice. TUESDAY: French toast stick with butter and syrup and juice. WEDNESDAY: Cheese toast, ham and juice. THURSDAY: Ham, toast with jelly and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Cheeseburger with lettuce, pickles and onion, potato wedges with catsup and peach cobbler. TUESDAY: Spaghetti and meat sauce, green beans, dill spear, peaches, hot rolls with butter and honey. WEDNESDAY: Chicken and dumplings, dried pinto beans, biscuit with butter and jelly, cinnamon roll and applesauce. THURSDAY: Pizza, salad bar, cookie and peanut cup. FRIDAY: Diced chicken quesadillas, salsa, green beans and peanut butter pie.Nevada School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Super doughnut and juice TUESDAY: French toast sticks with syrup and juice WEDNESDAY: Biscuit, bacon, cheese and juice THURSDAY: Cheese toast and juice. FRIDAY: Breakfast pizza and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Nacho with beef, salad and pinto beans. TUESDAY: Baked chicken, rice, winter vegetables, Jell-O with fruit and rolls. WEDNESDAY: Chili with beans, cinnamon roll, garden salad, pineapple and crackers. THURSDAY: Hot dog with mustard, cole slaw and yams. FRIDAY: Hamburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles and cookie.
