Curtis K. Kirk' Graham, 85, of Kearney, Neb., formerly of Hope, died Tuesday, February 27, 2001, in St. John Retirement Center in Kearney, Neb.

Mr. Graham was born June 15, 1915, in Boughton to Wilburn and Lutisha Fullerton Graham. He was a retired truck driver, member of the First Baptist Church in Kearney, Neb., and a former member of Grace Baptist Church in Hope. He was an U.S. Army veteran of WWII, a mason and a member of Whitfield Masonic Lodge 239 and the Order of Eastern Star 328 in Hope. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Graham of Kearney, Neb.; four sons, Charles C. Graham of Sims, Texas, Ray Wilson of Kearney, Jim Wilson of Dayton, Texas, and Jack Wilson of Hope; three daughters, Cecelia Adams of Hickman, Ky., Vickie Durfee of Jamestown, N.D., and Barbara Bloem of Douglas, Wyo.; one brother, Thurman Dick' Graham of Hope; two sisters, Alleane Jones of Hope and Dorothy Cantrell of Hope; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 8, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope with Rev. Austin Missey officiating. Masonic graveside services were held by Whitfield Masonic Lodge 239 of Hope. Burial was in Missionary Grove Cemetery in the Nubbin Hill community near Prescott under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
