Anetia HairHERNDON FUNERAL HOME of HOPEPublished Wednesday, March 7, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Anetia Hair, 72, of Hope died Thursday, March 1, 2001, in Hope. Mrs. Hair was born September 15, 1928, in Patmos to Joseph E. and Ola Mae Moses Hollis Sr. She was a retired cook for Hope Schools, Memorial Hospital and Sheltered Workshop. Mrs. Hair was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Valgene Hair. Survivors include a son, Charlie Hair of Hope; a daughter, Diane Dillard of Emmet; a brother, Joe Carroll Hollis of Hope; four sisters, Betra Campbell of Delight, Myrtis Blankenship of Waldo, Lorreta Nicholas of Patmos and Imo Jean Powell of Hope; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 3, in the Herndon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Jones and Rev. Dewayne Parrish officiating.
