Janie Taylor MohonHERNDON FUNERAL HOME of HOPEPublished Wednesday, March 7, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Janie Taylor Mohon, 76, of Emmet passed from this life Tuesday, February 27, 2001, in Emmet. Mrs. Mohon was born August 18, 1924, in Bodcaw to Edward and Lois Fuller Russell. She was a retired businesswoman. Mrs. Mohon was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hope for 63 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Taylor; a brother, James Fuller Russell and a sister, Melba Lee Russell. Survivors include her husband, R.E. Mohon of Emmet; two daughters, Donna Wingfield and her husband Jim of Prescott and Rita Turner and her husband Terry of Hope; a brother, D.B. Russell of Dallas, Texas; three granddaughters, Yvonne Fry, Angie Kidd and Mandy Turner; and one grandson, Jeff Turner; and three great grand-children. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 1, at Herndon Funeral Home with Rev. H.B. Fuller Jr. and Rev. Earl Cumbie officiating. Burial was in Rosehill Cemetery.
