Baseball Schedules Given For Prescott And Nevada

Prescott High School has begun its baseball program for the spring.

A tournament was supposed to have been hosted by the Prescott team this week, but inclement weather may have changed plans some.

Monday had Lockesburg pitted against Gurdon and Prescott playing Nevada.

Tuesday Nevada was to have played Gurdon and Prescott was to have taken on Lockesburg, and Thursday Lockesburg and Nevada are to play as well as Prescott and Gurdon.

This may all have changed due to the rain. The rest of the schedule is as follows. Some games may be doubleheaders.

The 2001 players are Trent Crow, Brandon Tullis, Matthew Yates, Craig Teague, Chris Glass, Ryan Burdue, John Fulmer, Toby Bullock, Brandon Ellis, Josh Brown, Adam Beaver, Bryan Joseph, Chad Hughes, Decolen Prater, Mark Jones, Josh Bullock and Kendall Todd.

Coaching the Curley Wolves is Denis Pruitt.

The Nevada Blue Jays began its spring baseball Feb. 22 against Stamps. This week they were to have played in the Prescott tournament (see separate article).
