Mrs. Essie Page passed away February 20 at Medical Park Hospital. Funeral will be Friday, March 2, at St. James COGIC in Willisville. Elder Fort is the pastor. Let us pray for the family, that God keep them in perfect peace.

Pleasant Grove Church is really growing by the grace of God and our pastor, Rev. J.C. Owens. God is good. Mother Ruth Ingram and deacon Otha McKinney, father of the church, long time members of Pleasant Grove have been an inspiration to me. They are there rain, storm, etc. At their age it is a blessing. They know how to talk and treat people. They know how to talk and treat people. I believe they are God sent Christians. God bless them both.

Birthday in February is Mrs. Ocie Moore.

Mrs. Sarah Williams of St. James COGIC will be the speaker at Pleasant Grove Church's Women in Hats' April 1 at 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Our own Donnie Sanders is involved in a Christian Athlete Fellowship banquet Saturday, March 3, at Nevada High School.

There will be a musical program Saturday night at Pleasant Grove at 7 p.m.

Odell Hatfield has been dismissed from the hospital.

Gurth Lee Ingram has been dismissed from Medical Park Hospital and transferred to Wadley Hospital in Texarkana.

Eddie B. Godbolt is yet a shut-in.

Rev. Phillip is the pastor of New Hope Church in Falcon.

A chartered bus took a load to Dallas, Texas, February 24 to Ophelia Giant's funeral.

Ruth Ingram's son, Herman Paden, and his family of Dallas, Texas; and grandson, Theartis Wallace of Duncanville, Texas, visited her and her family over the weekend.

Thought for the week: It's not how long you live that counts, but how well you live.
