Love life and see good days. Spring is just around the corner.

People around Rosston are having the flu bug. I took the flu shots, but still I have a rough time. It looks like I could get rid of it. I was not able to go the church Sunday.

My nephew, Freddie Dixon, and his wife Margaret from Mineral Springs visited me Saturday night. I sure was glad to see them.

Mr. Clifford Bradfort passed away last week. He was our superintendent for several years. He was a very good person. He and his wife Arthunline attended our church regularly. They lived in Pine Bluff.

My neighbors have really been nice to me. I shall never forget them. Mrs. Vera Purifoy visited me and calls to check on me, as does Mrs. Janet Smith. It seems I will never get rid of the bug. I cough a lot. I did not have any news last week. I did not feel like writing.

Bracy Tidwell had a stroke. He is in the nursing home at the present time, until they can find someone to live with him. Everette Young visited her Aunt Benoria Box and stopped by to see me. Her father is Freddie Lee and mother is Carrine Scott Young. She is a sweet child and doing well. She teaches school in New Orleans, La.

The Oak Grove Civic League will meet the first Tuesday night in February at 6:30 p.m. Let's try to keep the league going. We need your help and support.
