A beautiful Lord's Day after the storm on Saturday night.

A party at Western Sizzlin for Ruby Mullins of Richardson, Texas, was given for her 80th birthday. There were some 40 people to help her celebrate. She was Ruby Aaron and she grew up here. Some attending were Lillie Mae Phillips, Ruth Baker, Selma Mullins, Linda Sue Lowe, Delbert Aaron, Ramond Aaron and other relatives.

B.J and Courtney Angel were in church with Wanda and Ruth Baker.

Our church had 50 days of prayer and giving for missions which finished up Monday. Amy Overton McCoy had been on a couple of medical mission trips and she spoke to us about some of her travels.

Bodcaw Fire Department had a pancake supper on Friday night. There was a good turn-out. I don't know what the profit was.
