Cloyce C. Clark, 82, of Shreveport, La., formerly of Laneburg, died Sunday, February 25, 2001, in a Shreveport hospital.

Mr. Clark was born November 9, 1918, in the Mt. Moriah community in Nevada County. He was a retired truck driver, a member and elder of Mt. Moriah Presbyterian Church and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the National Guard for a number of years.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Clark of Shreveport, La.; one son, Cloyce C. Clark Jr. of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Glenda Stevens of Greenwood, La., Gail Hendrix of Shreveport, La., and Freda Sims of Arcadia, La.; one brother, Frank Clark Jr. of Hope; four sisters, Juanita Reed of Doddridge, Jean Henson of Waskom, Texas, Hattie Phipps of Longview, Texas, and Mattie Green of Doddridge; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, February 28, at 2:00 p.m. at the Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev. Lowell McLain and Mr. Harley Sisson officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
