School Menus: March 5-9Published Wednesday, February 28, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneMenus for the area schools for the week of March 5-9 are as follows. All meals are served with milk. They are also subject to change. Breakfast in Prescott Schools is served from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:00. Prescott School District The McRae Middle School (MMS) and Prescott High School offer different bar selections for lunch. The bar selections are listed at the end of the lunch paragraphs. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Bagel pizza and juice. TUESDAY: Bacon and biscuit and juice. WEDNESDAY: Cheese toast and juice. THURSDAY: Pancake on a stick and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Chicken nuggets with dip, mashed potatoes, peaches and roll; PHS, pizza bar. TUESDAY: Chicken noodle soup, grilled cheese sandwich, crackers, pickle slices, broccoli salad and sliced cantaloupe; MMS: salad bar; PHS: hamburger and fries bar. WEDNESDAY: Sausage pizza, mixed green salad, fresh fruit cup and Graham crackers; MMS: potato bar; PHS: chicken patty and fries bar. THURSDAY: Corndog with mustard, baked beans, strawberries, pink cake with white frosting (Barbie's birthday); MMS: Hamburger bar; PHS: Sandwich and fries bar. FRIDAY: Chicken spaghetti, seasoned green beans, Mandarin orange salad, roll and chocolate chip cookie; PHS: pizza bar. Emmet School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Ham, toast with jelly and juice. TUESDAY: Bagel with butter and syrup and juice. WEDNESDAY: Scrambled eggs, toast and juice. THURSDAY: Cheese toast, ham slices and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Chicken crispitos, salsa, chilled peach slices, green beans and no bake chocolate cookies. TUESDAY: Sloppy Joe on bun, potato wedges with catsup, peanut cup and apple crisp. WEDNESDAY: Fried chicken, rice with gravy, apple sauce, hot biscuits with honey and butter. THURSDAY: Shepherd pie, green beans, applesauce, hot rolls with butter and honey. FRIDAY: Pizza, salad bar, pineapple and peanut cup.Nevada School District No menu available. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Breakfast, pizza and juice. TUESDAY: Biscuit, eggs and apple juice.
