Bro. Novel and Lorene McAteer celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary Sunday afternoon at Trinity Baptist in Camden.

Mary Fern Overton and Ethel Ellis were visitors at Morris Sunday morning. After church they and Lucy Glass attended the 70th wedding celebration.

We still have lots of sickness in Caney. Bob, Carolyn, Dennis Hicks and little Caney Hicks are all on the ailing list.

Margie Reed visited her doctor last week and is scheduled for surgery on her throat Wednesday.

The Training in Truth (TNT) group of Morris Baptist entertained the church Saturday evening with a belated Valentine's supper at Cale City Hall. The children and their sponsors served a spaghetti plate and Valentine's cake. J.D. and Panky Luck were chosen King and Queen of Hearts. Activities were dismissed after a short program by TNT kids and prayer.

Junior and Ann Loe were also among those who visited Novel and Lorena McAteer Sunday afternoon.

Fourth Thursday singing will be this week at Morris Baptist at 7 p.m. Ya'll come.

My sister, Pauline Blevins, and I visited Cathy Ridling at Medical Park Hospital in Hope Friday. She had symptoms of a heart attack, but all her tests proved negative.

Margie Reed and Celia Karmel went to Ft. Worth last weekend; Celia's twin grandsons were celebrating their third birthday.

Lane Mayo visited his dad in Oklahoma last weekend.

Dieting is a wishful shrinking.
