School Menus: February 26-March 2Published Wednesday, February 21, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneMenus for the area schools for the week of February 26-March 2 are as follows. All meals are served with milk. They are also subject to change. Breakfast in Prescott Schools is served from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:00. Prescott School District The McRae Middle School (MMS) and Prescott High School offer different bar selections for lunch. The bar selections are listed at the end of the lunch paragraphs. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Super doughnut, toast and juice. TUESDAY: Bacon and biscuit and juice. WEDNESDAY: Sausage roll and juice. THURSDAY: Cinnamon toast and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Burrito with chili, seasoned corn, salsa, garden salad with dressing and assorted fresh fruit; PHS, pizza bar. TUESDAY: Nachos with ground beef with lettuce and tomato, salsa, seasoned pinto beans and cherry gelatin fruit; MMS: salad bar; PHS: hamburger and fries bar. WEDNESDAY: Chicken sandwich, sandwich salad cup, French fries with catsup and super cherry tiramisu; MMS: sandwich bar; PHS: pizza bar. THURSDAY: Cheeseburger on bun, sandwich salad cup, potato wedges with catsup and blushing pears; MMS: pizza bar; PHS: pizza bar. FRIDAY: Green eggs and ham (Dr. Suess' birthday), potato salad, fruit salad and roll; PHS: sandwich and fries bar. Emmet School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Toast, jelly, ham slice and juice. TUESDAY: French toast with jelly and juice. WEDNESDAY: Ham, toast with jelly and juice. THURSDAY: Breakfast pizza and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Corn dog with mustard, blackeyed peas, French fries with catsup, dill spear and no bake chocolate cookie. TUESDAY: Chicken fried steak sandwich, nachos and cheese, turnip greens, peanut cup and strawberry cobbler. WEDNESDAY: Enchilada with diced chicken and mozzarella cheese, green beans, chips with salsa, fruit and cookie. THURSDAY: Grilled chicken patty on gun with mozzarella cheese, lettuce and pickles, dried white northern beans and apple crisp. FRIDAY: Pizza, salad bar, applesauce, chocolate chip cookie and peanut cup. Nevada School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Breakfast, pizza and juice. TUESDAY: Biscuit, eggs and apple juice. WEDNESDAY: Manager's choice. THURSDAY: Not available. FRIDAY: Not available. LUNCH MONDAY: Chicken spaghetti, salad, bread sticks and peaches.
