Wedding Is March 4 For Hendrix, ChalmersPublished Wednesday, February 21, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. and Mrs. Junior Hendrix of Prescott would like to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Ann Hendrix, to Lance Corporal Nicholas Adam Chalmers, son of Mr. Wallace Chalmers of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Karen Johnston of Hartsville, Colo. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hendrix and Mrs. Wilma Compton of Prescott and the late Mr. Clyne Compton. The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Jack Kinkel and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chalmers. Miss Hendrix is a 1999 graduate of Prescott High School. She attended her freshman year of college at Southern Arkansas University and was majored in business. Miss Hendrix will be attending college at Hawaii Pacific University to finish her education. Mr. Chalmers is a 1999 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. He is a Lance Corporal of the U.S. Marine Corps, where he is an aircraft hydraulic mechanic. The wedding will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, at First Assembly of God in Prescott. A reception will follow at the home of Jayne Randolph. The ceremony will be performed by Bro. Charles Mattix.
