Name Wanted For Park Where Mural PaintedBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, February 21, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Whoever comes up with the best name for what will be the park by the city's mural will earn $50. Mary Godwin, executive director of the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, said the beautification committee was unable to agree on what the park should be called and decided to hold a contest to name it. Entrants are to give a brief explanation of how they came up with the name suggested. The winning name will be posted on the lot at the park. The winner, along with collecting $50, will have their picture in the Picayune and placed in the city's time capsule. Entries can either be called into the Chamber at 887-2101 during regular business hours, or mailed to the Chamber at P.O. Box 307, Prescott, Ark. 71857. Deadline for entering is March 16.
