Whoever comes up with the best name for what will be the park by the city's mural will earn $50.

Mary Godwin, executive director of the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, said the beautification committee was unable to agree on what the park should be called and decided to hold a contest to name it.

Entrants are to give a brief explanation of how they came up with the name suggested. The winning name will be posted on the lot at the park.

The winner, along with collecting $50, will have their picture in the Picayune and placed in the city's time capsule.

Entries can either be called into the Chamber at 887-2101 during regular business hours, or mailed to the Chamber at P.O. Box 307, Prescott, Ark. 71857.

Deadline for entering is March 16.
